St. Augustine is known for being the nation’s oldest city, having been founded by the Spanish in 1565, but is quickly gaining a reputation for having one of the funkiest festivals around. Lettuce and company hosted the 2nd annual Fool’s Paradise this past weekend in the historic town of St. Augustine. Last year the festival proved to be a welcoming place for funky collaborations, tons of dancing and getting to meet lots of artists; this year was all that and more. Since 2003, the Summer Camp Music Festival in Chillicothe, Illinois has held late night performances in the Red Barn. The festival organizers have recently released the lineup for their late night performers including EOTO, Pretty Lights, The Floozies and more keeping the music going take into the night. Gem and Jam, the eclectic festival celebrating music, art, and rare gems and minerals, is returning for its 11th year on February 3-5 and is anticipated to be better than ever.
