Suwannee Hulaween, is set to take center stage this weekend for their third annual music and arts festival. Halloween weekend in Florida has a new tradition of dressing up and getting down with the hottest live acts currently touring the music scene.

Gates for the event open on at 8:00 a.m. on Friday for regular camping, and guests with a Pre-Party Thursday pass can arrive early Thursday to setup camp. Arrive early on Thursday for closer campsites to the main stages, as well as catch EOTO, Dumpstaphunk, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead and Herd of Watts.

The weather outlook for the weekend in central Florida shows partly cloudy condictions with temperatures ranging from 60 to 80 degrees.

The Ghoul Train is the theme set for costumes this year at Hulaween. The String Cheese Incident loves the music scene from the late ’70s and early ’80s. After performing with legendary musicians from that time frame, they are hosting a costume theme based around Soul Train, and a mix of ghoulish fun. I looked up the definition of a ghoul and found out they eat flesh. So, maybe that will help with your costume planning for the weekend. Ironically, Bath Salt Zombies will be performing at Hulaween this year.

Pack warm clothes, and original outfits to mix and match with other guests during the event.
