Swedish Rock Hits the Streets
Peter Bjorn and John have released their seventh album Breakin’ Point out on their imprint INGRID label with the help of Kobalt Label Services.
Breakin’ Point relights the torch for pop/rock music.
This marks the band’s first album in five years. Their last release Gimmie Some from 2011, is a reflection to the sound on this album. The band’s variety of producers provides a wide range of style in one project.
This release provided the musicians the ability to work with skilled producers including: Patrick Berger (Icona Pop, Robyn), Paul Epworth (Florence And The Machine, U2, Paul McCartney), Greg Kurstin (Sia, Adele), Emile Haynie (Lana Del Rey, FKA Twigs, Kanye West), Pontus Winnberg (Miike Snow) and Thom Monahan (Wild Nothing, Devendra Banhart).
“Seven albums seems like an awful lot,” reflects Bjorn. “But we put them out during a long period so it’s OK!”
“Musically, a breaking point is just about working so hard until you know you can’t do any more,” says Bjorn.

Each song on Breakin’ Point stands on its own, but together the album resinates a new form of creative freedom.
Peter Bjorn and John continue to tour worldwide as they break back into an international music industry.
