Nas with Special Guests The Soul Rebels, Maroon 5, King of Leon, Usher & The Roots, Snoop Dogg, and Many World-Class Performers
The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival will be hosting Tom Petty and the Heartbreaks on their anniversary tour run. In addition, Stevie Wonder will be headlining the event with Maroon 5 and Dave Matthew with Tim Reynolds.
Nas with special guests The Soul Rebels is the set of the festival. Hands down, this set is my favorite before the first note is played. These two talented groups of musicians will take hiphop to another level at Jazz Fest.
Additional acts on the lineup include: Widespread Panic with a headlining performance on Thursday 5/4, Alabama Shakes, Lorde, Dr. John, Pitbull, Earth, Wind and Fire, Trombone Shorty, Wilco, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and Blues Traveler to name a select few.
New Orleans hometown favorites will be on hand including: The Meters, Aaron Neville, Dr. John, Galactic, The Revivalists, Trombone Shorty, Dumpstaphunk, Rebirth Brass band and many more.
Watch over the lineup video below on YouTube.
Jazz Fest 2017 will be split up over two weekends. The first weekend will take place from April 28-30, and the second weekend will be May 4-7. There will be plenty of entertainment in the in between days, but those are the days to the daytime festival. Connect with the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage 2017 website for tickets.
