Run the Jewels will be Ambassadors for Record Store Day 2018 The 11th annual Record Store Day will take place around the globe at independent record stores on Saturday, April 21. Record Store Day 2018 will provide limited released vinyl from artists of various genres to independently-owned record stores. Rare and unheard material is often released during the spring, and also during the winter. If you have a record player or want to grab a gift and want to be apart of the event this year, use Record Store Day's main website to locate nearby independent record stores. Meadows Music Festival 2017 books headliners Jay-Z, RHCP, Gorillaz
Citi Field in Queens, New York City is going to host the 2017 Meadows Music Festival with Jay-Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Gorillaz headlining the event from September 15-17. A special performance is booked with LL Cool J featuring DJ Z-Trip. Additional acts include: Nas, Weezer, Future, M.I.A., Big Gigantic, Bassnectar, Run the Jewels, Erykah Badu, Foster the People, De La Soul and over 50 live performances. The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival will be hosting Tom Petty and the Heartbreaks on their anniversary tour run. In addition, Stevie Wonder will be headlining the event with Maroon 5 and Dave Matthew with Tim Reynolds. Nas with special guests The Soul Rebels is the set of the festival.
