Lollapalooza, the flagship event taking place in Chicago August 3-6, has just announced their 2017 lineup. Chance The Rapper, The Killers, Muse, Arcade Fire will headline the event. The Chicago-based electronic dance music festival known as the Spring Awakening Music Festival has recently announced artist additions to their 2017 lineup. Spring Awakening will take place at Addams/Medill Park June 9-11. The event will feature two main stages, and two branded stages of entertainment each day. Uber and Lyft Arrives in Carbondale, Illinois
Two of the biggest ride sharing companies, Uber and Lyft, have recently begun providing service in Carbondale, Illinois. The city of Carbondale has amended part of ordinance to allow Uber and Lyft to operate, but that amendment does not take place until April 1. This has resulted in fewer drivers on the road in March. With it being St. Patrick's Day, I hope the city would be comfortable for drivers to work on this holiday. After April 1, the two companies will have service widely available in Southern Illinois. Punk rock legends Rancid and Dropkick Murphys are joining forces for the North American Boston to Berkeley Tour. Celtic-American punk rock with Dropkick Murphys will be live at the House of Blues in their hometown in Boston, Massachusetts on St. Patrick's Day. Mamby on the Beach has recently announced their 2017 lineup with MGMT, Walk the Moon, Local Natives and +45 artists performing at Oakwood Beach on South Lake Shore Drive. Spring Awakening Music Festival Breaks Out Borgeous, Keys N Krates in Second Round
Spring Awakening Music Festival has added Borgeous, Keys N Krates, Alan Walker, Headhunterz, as well as What So Not.
