Suwannee Hulaween officially opened the festival gates to guests with three days passes. On Friday the festival hosted live entertainment featuring: Karl Denson, Gramatik, The String Cheese Incident, Future Rock and many more talented musicians. It marked my first time covering the event with Tony. My primary goal was to capture the event with photos and film, but with such an expansive festival, I wanted to help him out with the context and background on the live performances. The String Cheese Incident will help host the fourth annual Suwannee Hulaween music festival in Live Oak, Florida this October 27-30. The band will perform three days during the event, and will also showcase music that they have developed with side projects. Over the past four years, The String Cheese Incident have been the flagship live act for Hulaween. With each year, the band continues to find new ways of showcasing live music from their twenty year career. Three Intriguing Acts at Suwannee Hulaween 2016
This year marks the fourth annual Suwannee Hulaween music festival held in Live Oak, Florida. Each year the festival hosts a wide range of music for guests to engage with during 3-4 days of camping and recreation. Recently, we published an in-depth article covering some of the data behind the 105 musical acts set to perform at Suwannee Hulaween. Early arrival is currently open for guests wanting to get setup before the entertainment hits on Thursday. When the music does hit the stage, we want to help inform attendees of three acts that have not performed at Hulaween in the past.
Spiritual Rez Drops New Album Setting in the West
Spiritual Rez, a Boston-based reggae-punk band, recently released Setting in the West on their own record label featuring a talented cast of musicians working behind the scenes. Setting in the West is a 10-track LP that was produced by AWOLNATION's Kenny Carkeet, and co-produced by Eve 6’s Max Collins. It features guest appearances by Duddy B of Dirty Heads, Hirie, Billy Kottage from the ska/punk group Reel Big Fish, as well as Goldfinger’s John Feldmann helping co-write 'Red Room.' Suwannee Hulaween 2016 Custom Schedule Released
Suwannee Hulaween 2016 has just released a custom schedule for guests to map out their four days at Suwannee Music Park. The festival is set to host thousands of concert goers with The String Cheese Incident, Disclosure and My Morning Jacket headlining the event. Hulaween will be hosting three primary stages on Thursday, along with five stages Friday-Sunday, and two disco stages overall. Umphrey's McGee will be performing three total sets during the weekend. Suwannee Hulaween Silent Disco Lineup & Artists at Large
Suwannee Hulaween 2016 has recently announced their Silent Disco lineup, as well as Roosevelt Collier and Jennifer Hartswick being the artists at large. The festival also announced recently their Snapchat handle at: @HulweenFL. Users that have Snapchat can engage with the content released on that platform. Jennifer Hartswick is a strong working musician with a drive to collaborate with artists live on stage. Her creative flow at music festivals generates a fluid structure to live performances. Big Gigantic is currently selling out Red Rocks Amphitheatre this weekend, and will be taking the Rowdytown energy to Suwannee Hulaween at the end of October. Suwannee Hulaween, Silver Wrapper and Purple Hat Productions have announced the costume contest theme. The String Cheese Incident will host three day of live music during Halloween weekend October 28 – October 30, 2016. Suwannee Hulaween returns to the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, FL. Hulaween organizers have announced that Stringier Things will be the theme.
