The land holds several unique characteristics such as the historic geyser known as Old Faithful. To avoid crowded groups, visit the park outside of their peak season that is usually from June to September. Arrive before 11:00 a.m. and after 6 p.m. to get the best spot. To be safe, park officials inform guests to not jump in hot springs, interact with wildlife, do not smoke marijuana, and be ready to only have cell phone reception
