A Trip from Denver to Chicago Can Save Consumers Over $130 on Expenses Tesla Motors has just released an exciting new online platform that collects data from two locations, and provides users a map with charging stations. This map by Tesla also calculates the total cost of gas, and displays the amount each person will save by driving a Tesla vehicle. The website does note: 'Routing, charge times and mileage are based on the vehicle and battery of choice and assumes that trips begin with a full charge. Assumptions are also made for factors like weather, climate control and driving

Tesla Motors Upgrades to 8.0 with Maps and Autopilot

Tesla Motors is upgrading their Model S and Model X vehicles with 8.0 software. This latest upgrade focuses on safety and comfort. The company is working on the battery with upgrades to the Cabin Overheat Protection system. It primarily focuses on child and pet safety. Cabin Overheat Protection keeps the car at a safe temperature for hours, even when the car is off. Tesla can acclimate the temperature with their uniquely large battery packs. When I first heard that they were working on an upgrade, I assumed that they would be working on the cooling elements to prevent the batteries for busting into flames
