MTV VMAs 2016 Pre-Show Kicks Off Tonight with the Red Carpet
The MTV VMAs 2016 award presentation is set to air live from the world renown Madison Square Garden for the first time ever on Sunday, August 28 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT. Guests will begin to arrive to the venue and walk the Red Carpet at Madison Square Garden at 6:15 p.m. EST. Fashion and self-expression will be on hand to kick off the VMAs 2016 edition. At 8:00 the official Pre-Show will warm up guests, and provide entertainment with DJ Khaled. Charlemange tha God & Lizzo will be on hand. MTV VMAs 2016 Goes Live from Madison Square Garden
Brittany Spears & G-Eazy, Nick Jonas & Ty Dolla $ign have both been confirmed to join forces at the MTV VMAs taking place in downtown Manhattan on Sunday, August 28. The marks the first time the event has been held at Madison Square Garden in its 33-year history. In addition to the award show, MTV has recently announced that they will open their historic vault with a curated selection of MTV Firsts. This show will be a 30-minute special that will air on Saturday, August 20 at 4:50 p.m. ET/PT. This will take place on MTV, and gear fans up for the award show the following weekend.
