One of the most exciting pieces to Farm Aid is their relentless attitude to help bring awareness to sustaining local agriculture. Each year the organization travels around the United States to host an event, but they also shine a spotlight on farming communities. This year, Burgettstown, Pennsylvania will host thousands of people on Saturday, September 16, at KeyBank Pavilion. Cropland across the United States can produce a wide variety of fruits and vegetables. Along with the music, Farm Aid also helps showcase the local food being produced annually. Farm Aid Tickets Sell Out in Less Than 24 Hours
Farm Aid 2017 has sold out of tickets in less than 24 hours after going on sale this past June 23. The festival is hosting a contest for those looking to give back to the farming community, at the same time as entering a contest for a pair of tickets. Kari Nott, Development Director at Farm Aid, noted that one lucky Farm Aid supporter a VIP trip to Farm Aid 2017. You'll get a pair of VIP tickets, a backstage tour, 2-nights hotel lodging and $500 to cover travel expenses. The Farm Aid donation contest is only valid in U.S.
Farm Aid Tickets now on Sale for Burgettstown, PA, on September 16
Farm Aid ticket sales is now open to the general public. The one day event will open the gates at noon and host live performances by Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp, The Avett Brothers and many more talented musicians. Lawn seating starts at $49.50 per ticket with fees and tax. Tickets under the pavilion start at $199.50 per ticket with fees and tax. The money made from the Farm Aid tickets goes to helping farmers. Farm Aid 2017 has announced their acoustic driven lineup featuring Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews. The all day music event known as Farm Aid 2017 will be at the KeyBank Pavilion in Burgettstown, PA on September 16. In addition to hosting an annual live music event, Farm Aid also helps the farming and agriculture community year round. The event organizers reported in 2016, Farm Aid granted $575,318.
