Pokey LaFarge to Release Manic Revelations via Rounder Records on May 19
Pokey LaFarge has released a single 'Riot in the Streets' to his upcoming album Manic Revelations set for release on May 19. His latest single 'Riot in the Streets' is a classic track that has serious replay demand. LaFarge shares some of the songwriting process on the upcoming album. “The manic revelation is the state where artists create. I got to the point in writing these songs where I felt like a house on fire that just kept burning.” He continues, “This album is about confronting yourself. It’s about confronting your city, its relation with the world, and all its people.” -

Environmental advocates are expressing their viewpoints in protests, at town halls, in open forums, online, and with the medium of film. The Tribeca Film Festival recently released their feature film lineup with A River Below set to screen at the festival in late April. This documentary takes a modern look at the hunting the indigenous pink river dolphin to extinction. National Geographic just released a trailer on YouTube for Water & Power: A California Heist. The String Cheese Incident Returns to Red Rocks, LOCKN and Atlanta on Summer Tour
The String Cheese Incident, an alternative rock group from Colorado, is hitting the road heavy in 2017 with festival performances, as well as a three night run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre from July 21-23. During the next two evenings, the band will perform sold out shows at the Fox Theatre. They will travel the mountains with their Winter Carnival tour that is scheduled to packed venues out West. Vail Craft Beer Classic Combines Yoga, Exercise, Entertainment and Over 300 Beers
The 2017 Vail Craft Beer Classic will be taking place in Vail, Colorado during June 16-18. This unique beer festival will provide an oasis for craft beer and exercise. On Friday, June 16 the event kicks off with drinks featuring a massive selection of craft brews, as well as some Colorado wine. The Classic Kickoff Celebration, a tasting at Eagle’s Nest in Vail, will feature exclusive beers from over 20 Colorado-based breweries paired with BBQ from the chefs at Vail Resorts.
