Farm Aid 2017 has announced their acoustic driven lineup featuring Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews. The all day music event known as Farm Aid 2017 will be at the KeyBank Pavilion in Burgettstown, PA on September 16. In addition to hosting an annual live music event, Farm Aid also helps the farming and agriculture community year round. The event organizers reported in 2016, Farm Aid granted $575,318. Pittsburgh Aims to Achieve 100% Renewable Energy by 2035
Bill Peduto, mayor of Pittsburgh, Pennslyvania, has recently announced goals for the city to reach 100 percent renewable energy by 2035. The mayor recently joined the group Mayors for 100% Clean Energy, and continues to push for a cleaner and safer guideline for Pittsburgh. Traffic in San Francisco Experiences Autonomous Test Cars by Uber
Last Saturday Uber shut down testing autonomous car technology development in Arizona following an incident on the road. They have been testing self-driving cars in San Francisco, Pittsburgh and Arizona. Local news outlet with ABC reported that 'A car failed to yield to the autonomous SUV and hit it, authorities said. The self-driving SUV rolled onto its side as a result crash.' Uber also shut down development in Pittsburgh following the incident. Today the company noted that they would return testing in San Francisco with an updated vehicle, along with backup human drivers for difficult moments on the road.
Lotus Adds West Coast Dates to 2017 Winter Tour
Lotus, an electronic rock group, has recently announced new winter tour dates for 2017. The band continues to tour year round, year after year. To cap off 2016 the band is going travel to New York to perform two nights at the Playstation Theater. After those concerts, Lotus is set to roll into Pittsburgh and Philadelphia for their New Year's Eve run. The band is so driven that they don't take many weeks off in 2017 before returning to the road with performances set for Atlanta, Asheville, Reno, San Francisco, Eugene and several more dates.
