Sundance Film Festival 2017 is taking place later this month in the mountains of Utah. The festival has announced two additional film premieres with Newness, and TRUMPED: Inside The Greatest Political Upset of All Time. In addition to those two films, the festival is set to have dozens of film premieres and interactive content to explore in Park City, Utah. The Sundance Film Festival has recently announced four additional films set to screen for the 2017 event in Utah from January 19-29. Sundance announced the following films to debut: Bending the Arc and Long Strange Trip. Two from the vault include: Desert Hearts and Reservoir Dogs. Out of these four projects, Reservoir Dogs, is one film I don't find necessary screening at Sundance. With the amount of anti-gun films set to debut this year, it is my personal view that screening that violent film is in bad taste. The band is set to celebrate NYE in Pittsburgh at Stage AE with RJD2 on the 30th, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong on the 31st. The Sundance Film Institute has announced the films for the Competition field, as well as motion picture projects in the NEXT category.
