This map by Tesla also calculates the total cost of gas, and displays the amount each person will save by driving a Tesla vehicle. The website does note: 'Routing, charge times and mileage are based on the vehicle and battery of choice and assumes that trips begin with a full charge. Tesla Motors is expanding their ability to service their upcoming fleet of Model 3 vehicles. The company noted that they will be adding 100 service centers, as well as 1,000 technicians for the Model 3 release. USA TODAY reported: 'At a starting price of $35,000, the Model 3 is about half the cost of Tesla's two other models. Tesla hasn't said how many people hold refundable, $1,000 reservations for the car, but it has said it expects to make 500,000 vehicles in 2018. That's up from 84,000 last year.'
