Lotus Adds West Coast Dates to 2017 Winter Tour
Lotus, an electronic rock group, has recently announced new winter tour dates for 2017. The band continues to tour year round, year after year. To cap off 2016 the band is going travel to New York to perform two nights at the Playstation Theater. After those concerts, Lotus is set to roll into Pittsburgh and Philadelphia for their New Year's Eve run. The band is so driven that they don't take many weeks off in 2017 before returning to the road with performances set for Atlanta, Asheville, Reno, San Francisco, Eugene and several more dates. Keller Williams and Leo Kottke are going to travel the United States in early 2017 on the 'Shut the Folk Up and Listen Tour.' The two acoustic guitarists will be starting their run in the Ridgefield, Connecticut on January 12. They will travel down to Florida and across the United States. The venues that they are set to play at are intimate, and tickets may sell out quickly for certain shows. Nth Power, a Brooklyn-based quartet, will perform three shows in the Midwest this weekend in connection with their release of To Be Free that is out today. Suwannee Hulaween 2016 held their fourth annual music festival in Live Oak, Florida on October 27-30. Silver Wrapper, Suwannee Music Park, Purple Hat Productions and The String Cheese Incident brought in My Morning Jacket, Disclosure and Big Gigantic to help headline the four day camping music festival. Tony Smith, writer for Crescent Vale, has covered the event in 2014, 2015 and again this year in 2016. Suwannee Hulaween officially opened the festival gates to guests with three days passes. On Friday the festival hosted live entertainment featuring: Karl Denson, Gramatik, The String Cheese Incident, Future Rock and many more talented musicians. 4 stages, 24 total acts, including EOTO, Marco Benevento, a late night Greensky Bluegrass show, and 2 sets of Umphrey’s McGee. That’s what you call a Pre-Party at Suwannee Hulaween! Needless to say the bar was set high early in the weekend. Marco Benevento was the first of many to funk up the Amphitheater stage during the extra warm afternoon. Yonder Mountain String Band Hits the Road with G. Love
Yonder Mountain String Band has recently announced tour dates for their upcoming Winter 2017 tour. The concerts will feature venues across the United States, and will showcase music by G. Love and the Special Sauce, as well as The Railsplitters. On Thursday, January 19 the tour will open at The Bluebird in Bloomington, Indiana. The band will travel to St. Louis to The Pageant the following evening. G. Love will add to the tour starting on February 8 in Orlando, Florida.
