Unlock the Holiday Spirit with G. Love The holiday season is in full swing, and G. Love & the Special Sauce have a new album out titled Coming Home For Christmas on Brushfire/Republic Records. One of my favorite acoustic guitar players is Garrett Dutton, also known as G. Love. He performs music with Jeffrey Clemens on drums, and Jim 'Jimi Jazz' Prescott on bass. The trio have been performing music together since 1994. This year the group worked together and released a Christmas album featuring their classic blues sound. Sam Adams is currently hosting a month long tour of events nationwide featuring their line of Octoberfest beer selection. The festival tour stopped in downtown Denver to Larimer Square on Saturday, October 7. Oompah, Corey Harper, G. Love and the Special Sauce, as well as George Clinton and The Parliament Funkadelic performed on the outdoor stage. The festival was stocked with plenty of beverages and food to snack on. Sam Adams is hosting a national tour for Octoberfest 2017 with stops in Cleveland, Denver, Chicago, New York and Boston. On Saturday, October 7 the tour rolls into downtown Denver with G. Twenty sixteen has been a year for the record books regarding a large variety of topics. First, we want to thank everyone for taking the time to review our coverage that connects audiences all over the globe with news covering music, film, technology and additional industries during 2016. It was exciting to bring on two new multimedia producers with Lindsey Tucker and Samantha Harvey joining the team. They helped add content for festivals in Florida and Colorado. Harvey is set to cover the Gem and Jam Festival in Arizona coming up in early February 2017. Our outlet was accepted to Google News
Yonder Mountain String Band Hits the Road with G. Love
Yonder Mountain String Band has recently announced tour dates for their upcoming Winter 2017 tour. The concerts will feature venues across the United States, and will showcase music by G. Love and the Special Sauce, as well as The Railsplitters. On Thursday, January 19 the tour will open at The Bluebird in Bloomington, Indiana. The band will travel to St. Louis to The Pageant the following evening. G. Love will add to the tour starting on February 8 in Orlando, Florida. Carbondale Rocks Revival hosted their 6th Annual music festival in downtown Carbondale, Illinois on September 30 & October 1. The city of Carbondale and members from the Carbondale Music Coalition help put together this event. Caylan Hill, event organizer, noted that over 3,000 guests attended the two day event featuring: G. Love and the Special Sauce, Houndmouth, The Woodbox Gang, Split Lip Rayfield, Aaron Kamm and the One Drops, as well as several local, regional and national acts. Carbondale Rocks Revival has recently announced that G. Love and the Special Sauce will be performing on Friday evening from 10:45-12 p.m. for the 6th annual event in downtown Carbondale, Illinois. Southern Culture on the Skids is set to perform up to 11 p.m. So the stage will be packed during that exchange. Additional bands on Friday include: Split Lip Rayfield, Swamp Tigers, Ben Miller Band, as well as Aaron Kamm and the One Drops.
