Galactic, Antibalas and Andy Frasco Mix it Up at The Fillmore Auditorium in Denver
The Fillmore Auditorium and Sirius Jam On hosted a big night of live music with Galactic, Antibalas and Andy Frasco & The U.N. on Saturday, February 4 in downtown Denver. Music started off with Andy Frasco & the U.N. around 8:30 p.m. The Los Angeles crew of alternative blues musicians brought a positive vibe to the evening. Big Gigantic Announced Rowdytown VI at Red Rocks Amphitheatre
Big Gigantic has teamed with ThisSongIsSick.com and Red Rocks Amphitheatre to host a two-day event in Morrison, Colorado. For the past six years Big Gigantic has held down the end-of-summer bash at Red Rocks with a large set of opening performers. The Rocky Mountains start to form in a beautiful area that sits southwest of Denver. Coors Light is set to host the Indy 500 Snake Pit event on May 28, 2017. Zedd, Marshmello, RL Grime, Action Bronson, Adventure Club, and The Trap House are scheduled to perform during the one day electronic dance music festival. The music will feature some of the hottest EDM producers on the globe. In contrast to the music, the entertainment will also host one of the best performers on the microphone. Shaky Beats Returns to Atlanta with The Chainsmokers, GRiZ and Gramatik
The Shaky Beats Music Festival will be held at Centennial Olympic Park on May 5-7, 2017. The venue is located just outside of Atlanta, and will host The Chainsmokers, Kaskade, Griz, Flosstradamus and over 40 live acts on three stages. Additional acts include: RL Grime, Gramatik, Girl Talk, Claude VonStroke, Snails, Lost Kings, Haywyre, Ganja White Night, and many other electric musical acts. This music festival will focus on electric music, and provide nearby hotels, but no camping will be available. The festival does offer world class entertainment in the heart of Atlanta. Lotus Adds Dates to their 2017 Touring Schedule
Lotus, the premiere electronica rock group, has recently announced additional tour dates for their 2017 Winter Tour. The band is set to celebrate NYE in Pittsburgh at Stage AE with RJD2 on the 30th, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong on the 31st. The 2017 will feature the opening acts: El Ten Eleven joins us February 7-11 (Reno, San Fran, Portland OR, Eugene). Pigeons Playing Ping Pong opens March 1-4 (Columbia MO, Grand Rapids, Columbus). The Werks returned to Morgantown, West Virginia on Saturday, December 3. The band performed at Mainstage Morgantown and brought their action-packed rock to the Applicahan Mountains. Nicholas Hess was on hand to capture the concert with photography. He mentioned that the group played one hell of a show. Hess felt the vibes in the audience from the people that had been celebrating following a WVU football game against Baylor. Run the Jewels have been working hard on their latest album RTJ3, and recently released a new track online, as well as the release date. RTJ3 is currently available to pre-order, as well as available in stores on January 13, 2017.
