Sunday Evening Sunset Live Jazz Sessions at City Park Sunday, June 2 marked the first City Park Jazz event in downtown Denver. Setup by donations and volunteers, these weekly events are provided for free to the community. Emma Mayes and the Hip performed two soulful sets of live music. This past Friday the band made a visit to the CBS studios in New York before heading to Madison Square Garden on Sunday for the GRAMMYs. I personally love this decision by the CBS production team. Robert Randolph and the Family Band recently released the album Got Soul. The band will be touring across the United States this summer to showcase the new material. The summer tour kicks off on April 20 in Rochester, NY at Anthology with Luke Wade supporting. Wade will be performing at several shows this summer with Randolph and company.
