Stories Come to Life in the Mountains of Utah for Sundance 2018 The official film lineup has been released for the Sundance Film Festival. Aside for the sequel to Super Size Me 2 being pulled from the lineup, the selection committee did a fair job. Overall, I don't see why overrated films like that get picked; while a film I submitted that showcased a special moment of the 2017 solar eclipse gets passed over. They have unveiled their feature film categories with 110 selections from over 29 different countries. This past year the festival generated over 71,000 attendees over the ten day period. The Sundance Institute recently announced the lineup of entertainment scheduled for NEXT FEST 2017. This year marks the fifth annual festival in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. The Sundance Film Festival has recently announced four additional films set to screen for the 2017 event in Utah from January 19-29. Sundance announced the following films to debut: Bending the Arc and Long Strange Trip. Two from the vault include: Desert Hearts and Reservoir Dogs. Out of these four projects, Reservoir Dogs, is one film I don't find necessary screening at Sundance.
