The Bonnaroo Music Festival announced their 2017 lineup today with U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd and Chance the Rapper headlining the festival in Manchester, Tennessee. The booking staff is probably thinking, 'if we book big, mainstream acts, it will help sell tickets.' If music festivals were arenas and large venues in major cities, that logic might make sense. The Summer Camp Music Festival has just announced their first round of artists for the 2017 event taking place on May 26-28 at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois. Debut performances in the first round include: Run the Jewels, Mike Gordon, the Claypool Lennon Delirium, Eric Krasno Band, Ganja White Night and many others. Hulaween 2016 Hosts the Most Wicked Pre-Party in Camping Music Festival History
4 stages, 24 total acts, including EOTO, Marco Benevento, a late night Greensky Bluegrass show, and 2 sets of Umphrey’s McGee. That’s what you call a Pre-Party at Suwannee Hulaween! Needless to say the bar was set high early in the weekend. Marco Benevento was the first of many to funk up the Amphitheater stage during the extra warm afternoon. TAUKing McGee Debut in the Red Barn The Summer Camp Music Festival 2016 late night concerts in the Red Barn will feature: TAUKing McGee, and EOTO with Keller Williams on Friday, Cherub and Lotus on Saturday, and Yonder Mountain String Band on Sunday, with an additional Sunday set to still be announced. Friday will feature a special combination of musicians from the band's TAUK and Umphrey's McGee. The collaborations will continue with an EOTO set featuring Keller Williams.
