Lotus Adds Dates to their 2017 Touring Schedule
Lotus, the premiere electronica rock group, has recently announced additional tour dates for their 2017 Winter Tour. The band is set to celebrate NYE in Pittsburgh at Stage AE with RJD2 on the 30th, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong on the 31st. The 2017 will feature the opening acts: El Ten Eleven joins us February 7-11 (Reno, San Fran, Portland OR, Eugene). Pigeons Playing Ping Pong opens March 1-4 (Columbia MO, Grand Rapids, Columbus). Gem and Jam Festival, being held February 2 – 5 in Tucson, AZ, may have a new venue, but it hasn’t strayed far from its roots. The Forecastle Festival announced their 2017 lineup earlier this week with LCD Soundsystem, Weezer and ODESZA headlining the event in Louisville, Kentucky. This music, art and activism-based festival will be taking place July 14-16. Additional acts include: Cage the Elephant, PJ Harvey, Run the Jewels, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, GRiZ, X Ambassadors, Vince Staples, NEEDTOBREATHE, Teddy Abrams & Friends, and Conor Oberst. The festival has released a main bulk of their live acts, but they still have additional bands and musicians still to be announced. When I first was introduced to Musgraves' music at the 2015 Bonnaroo Music Festival, I was instantly hooked with her attention to detail within music performance. She is a natural at performing live music. Her captivating presence can be felt on stage, as well as during her interviews. The GRAMMY Awards have just announced their 2017 nominees for the 59th GRAMMYs taking place at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 12 at 8 p.m. EST. The Werks Head to the Mountains to Rock Out at Mainstage Morgantown
The Werks returned to Morgantown, West Virginia on Saturday, December 3. The band performed at Mainstage Morgantown and brought their action-packed rock to the Applicahan Mountains. Nicholas Hess was on hand to capture the concert with photography. He mentioned that the group played one hell of a show. Hess felt the vibes in the audience from the people that had been celebrating following a WVU football game against Baylor. Run the Jewels have been working hard on their latest album RTJ3, and recently released a new track online, as well as the release date. RTJ3 is currently available to pre-order, as well as available in stores on January 13, 2017.
