A recent report by Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana shows a trend that focuses on how automative jobs may be increasing the unemployment rate. Currently, I live in Southern Illinois and found similarities between their data and trends that is also taking place in my area. The YouTube video below by the vlogbrothers does an excellent job of breaking down employment data for the United States. Let me start with two facts about the largest employers in the United States: The U.S. Department of Defense has been named the largest employer in the world with 3.2 million. Wal-Mart is the largest company

YouTube has Not Made a Profit, but Musicians Want More Money from the Streaming Music Service

YouTube is in hot water over their streaming music service with musicians looking to obtain more money for their content. Personally, I also want YouTube to start paying more for content. YouTube does provide a free server to upload data for their users. This is one of the many tradeoffs that major media outlets overlook when covering this debate. Another tradeoff is the search engine connected to the content. As a media producer that runs my own website, I completely understand the cost in providing server space for millions of users. That cost should be far more transparent. YouTube

The Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather matchup is not your grandfather's type of boxing match. This fight is boxing on steroids. Before these epic press conferences, the build up to the contract and deal between these two fighters already had performance enhancement written all over it. I'm not saying the fighters are on steroids, I'm saying the method of production and hype is juiced up beyond belief. UFC and Showtime PPV have partnered together to bring combat action fans a fight for the ages. In the past, Floyd Mayweather has picked up an impressive record of 49-0. He has

The upcoming solar eclipse is making waves before the event happens on August 21. It is clear that the moon will block the sun for a period of time that day, but it is unclear how much solar power that will decrease over the day. A recent study by Bloomberg shows that close to 7 million homes would not be able to run on the 9,000 megawatts that may be unavailable during the solar eclipse for solar power consumers. The decrease in production will impact homeowners that consume and work with solar power. Depending on what part of the
