Producer Chris Funk Added Texture to the Album The Ben Miller Band returns to the music scene with Choke Cherry Tree via New West Records on January 26. This band stems from hardships, and delivers a genuine touch of Delta Blues mixed with alternative country. Hard driving guitar riffs fuel the core of this band, as well as the old school rock sound from Missouri. Ben Miller expands upon the latest material. “Early in the process of making this album, I thought that we either had to really nail our live approach in the recording studio, or we needed to

The Tech Giants Push Back Against Abusive Content YouTube and Google are teaming up to help monitor videos that are being shown on the platform. Recently, a YouTuber known as Logan Paul uploaded a controversial video that has put a spotlight on the topic of how distasteful videos become popular. After producing videos on YouTube for over a decade, and sharing content from the site daily, I have found myself questioning the motives of the company that I support. In a capitalistic country, it is common for companies to gravitate to generating revenue over moral obligations. We see this in the pharmaceutical,

"What I really love about this record is that each one of these songs has its own little world." - Oliver Wood The Wood Brothers are releasing One Drop of Truth on February 2 via Honey Jar/Thirty Tigers. The trio known as The Wood Brothers is made up of Oliver and Chris Wood along with Jano Rix. They have been working on a new album, and have it ready for release at the start of February. Their debut single is heartfelt and reminds me of 'Postcards from Hell' off their album Loaded. Both songs have substance and a gravity that makes me want to hear more.

An Ongoing Struggle to Make Facebook Great Again In one of the most unselfish moves on the Internet, Mark Zuckerberg is moving the attention away from publishers and brands on Facebook, and redirecting it to human beings. This decision may not stick, due to the stock price dropping over eight points by the end of Friday, January 12. If it does hold, our publishing company is properly setup for success. In 2013 and 2014 we did some advertising on Facebook. It did provide some brand awareness, but when we started seeing people get caught up in likes and shares by

During their 20th Year Anniversary the Band Releases their Eleventh Studio Album Umphrey's McGee continues to steamroll the independent music industry with their eleventh studio album titled it's not us on Nothing Too Fancy Music. The album was first previewed with two songs on vinyl in 2017 on Record Store Day Black Friday.
