Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers have confirmed their final performance on their 40th anniversary tour at The Hollywood Bowl on Thursday, September 21. Lucinda Williams will join the band for this special night of music in Los Angeles. The band is currently on tour with multiple large-scale sets of music including their upcoming concerts at Wrigley Field, Summerfest, TD Garden and many more before they cap it off in late September. Jessica Hernandez & The Deltas have recently released their second full studio album in Spanish and English titled Telephone / Telefono. The group released their first album in 2014 titled Secret Evil, and have returned with a package of studio recordings that reflect their aggressive spirit. Hernandez is a second generation Cuban and Mexican-American. She worked on her Spanish by spending two full weeks speaking exclusively in the language. Lollapalooza 2017 has announced their list of late night performances that will take place in venues across the windy city in Chicago. The energy of Lollapalooza will be taking over the Midwest this upcoming August 3-6. Grant Park will host live music starting at noon during the daytime. Guests will be able to continue to party into the evening hours once the main festival wraps up around 10 p.m. Each venue has its own atmosphere and vibe. I personally enjoy watching late night performances at the Vic Theater, but if you are more into intimate settings, the MID might be better
