Mountain Jam Music Festival in Hunter, New York has just announced that The String Cheese Incident will be joining the festivities this upcoming June 16-18. Additional acts that were recently announced include: The Head and the Heart, Woodstock, New York native Amy Helm, Matisyahu, Moon Hooch, and Sinkane. Michael Franti will be returning this year. Twenty sixteen has been a year for the record books regarding a large variety of topics. First, we want to thank everyone for taking the time to review our coverage that connects audiences all over the globe with news covering music, film, technology and additional industries during 2016. It was exciting to bring on two new multimedia producers with Lindsey Tucker and Samantha Harvey joining the team. They helped add content for festivals in Florida and Colorado. Victor Wooten Trio Adds Tour Dates to 2017
The Victor Wooten Trio, made up of Victor Wooten on bass, sax player Bob Franceschini and drummer Dennis Chambers, will set out on a winter/spring tour in early 2017. The tour will open up with a six night residency at The Blue Note in New York City from January 17 - 22. A special two night, two show run will take place in Minneapolis on March 9 & 10.
