Allah-Las have just released Calico Review on Mexican Summer, and will be touring with new music through the fall season. Tonight, Allah-Las will be performing live at Off-Broadway in St. Louis. Their tour will take them across the United States, and areas of Europe and Central America. The Los Angeles rock group takes a page from the California coast with a downtempo, grunge feel that begins to shine light on a talented band of musicians. Last August, our country celebrated the 100th anniversary of the National Parks Service. Google put together a virtual reality project in YouTube 360 to give viewers a taste of the eye candy within the National Parks. Kenai Fjords, a National Park in Alaska, is toured by a group of travel guides as they capture the natural beauty. Within the immersive viewing experience, this short film starts off with a group of rock/glaicer climbers rappelling down two sections of Alaskan ice. If you are watching the video below on a computer, users can toggle with the mouse to access different views.

The Clash Between Honey Bees and the Zika Virus

The recent developments with the Zika Virus has put North and South Carolina in a tough spot. These two states connect with Florida, and have been releasing a chemical called Naled to combat mosquitos in their area. Even though there has not been a reported case of the Zika virus being locally-transmitted, The Washington Post notes that South Carolina does have over a dozen cases report for travel-related Zika.
