Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are hitting the road in 2017 to celebrate their 40th Anniversary Tour with a kickoff show in Oklahoma on 4/20/2016. Joe Walsh will join The Heartbreakers on the road for several of the dates. In addition, Chris Stapleton will also appear as a special guest at Chicago’s Wrigley Field, and for two nights at the Marcus Amphitheater at Milwaukee’s Summerfest. Tickets for all of the newly announced shows, except for two concerts at New York City’s Forest Hills Stadium, will go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 16 at 10 a.m. local time.

Universal Pictures continues to uncover new material from the ancient pyramids of Egypt with a new movie titled The Mummy. Tom Cruise attempts to replace Brendan Fraser in the lead role. The last time The Mummy had a theatrical run, Fraser was the lead actor. After three movies spanning from 1999 to 2008, the idea is being revamped for release in 2017.
