Silicon Valley by HBO Season 1, Episode 5 – Show Review
The Pied Piper team goes looking in all the wrong places for a logo. Erlich Bachman recruits a street artist by the name of Chuy to get some edge added to the brand. Bachman arranges a deal with Chuy for $10,000 to create the logo. The total budget for Pied Piper is $200,000. In reality the logo should probably not cost five percent of the total operating budget. Another issue that is brought up in episode five is that Richard had submitted an entry for the TechCrunch Disrupt competition, and forgot to withdraw the entry. For startups

If you are a startup that wants to acquire funding, and is ready to be incorporated, look into options in Delaware, Nevada, and your home state. It is wise to layout options when making a major business decision. Richard experiences the

The team at Pied Piper is also faced with another company having the name 'Pied Piper' registered with the Secretary of State. This causes Richard to have to use his negotiating skills to acquire the name legally. Along with the poor choice of Pied Piper for a business name, the team has to deal with trying to possibly rebrand and rename the company. Identify for early startups is hard to establish without proper planning. Preparation

At the Pied Piper launch party, Donald 'Jared' Dunn, performed by Zach Woods, decides to crash the small event at Erlich Bachman’s house. One of the comical inside jokes to the launch party is that the team is sitting at computers with the screensaver running. I mean sure, when I think of a wild party, I first think about turning on a laptop and watching the preset screensaver play through. Richard confronts Jared, and informs him that he has decided to partner with Peter Gregory. It is at this time, we find out that Jared is interested

I was first turned on to the project when the band got in touch with press materials for the international tour that started in 2016, and has continued through 2017. We often get press materials from a wide mix of producers and creators in different forms of entertainment. Once I saw that Peter Bjorn and John were releasing a follow up to their 2011 album Gimmie Some, I was instantly interested
