Organic Farming in Colorado Provides the Tools to Engage the Community The residents surrounding Longmont, Colorado joined together for a community event hosted by Lefthand Watershed Oversight Group to celebrate Earth Day on Sunday, April 22 at Ollin Farms. Longmont has a thriving farmers market, and several members of the community collected to help lend a hand with a pesticide-free farm north of Denver. Adults helped informed and guided younger groups of people to plant trees, collect firewood, clear land, as well as work on creek restoration. Over Fifty Breweries, Ski and Snowboarding, as well as Live Entertainment at Hops and Handrails 2018 Left Hand Brewing Company is hosting Hope and Handrails on March 24 -25 with Karl Denson's Tiny Universe, The Werks, Kessel Run and Colorado's Spyscraper performing live on stage. NitroFest Featured International Brews Crafted with Nitrogen Left Hand Brewing hosted the fourth annual NitroFest in Longmont, Colorado on Saturday, November 11. It marked my first time covering NitroFest. Lotus performed an action-packed two hour set with a monster version of 'Tip of the Tongue' at NitroFest 2017. The audience was filled with diehard Lotus fans. Before the show got underway, a member of the audience brought up that she loved Lotus so much, that she named her dog after the band. Over 40 Breweries from 5 Countries Will Be On Tap at Nitro Fest Left Hand Brewing Company and Left Hand High Five Events will be hosting a tasty event in Longmont, Colorado on Saturday, November 11. This year marks their fourth annual Nitro Fest taking place at Roosevelt Park. Lotus will be performing live on stage starting at 8:00 p.m. with a two hour set.
