Fool’s Paradise Adds The Motet and Vulfpeck’s Lead Vocalist Antwaun Stanley
The festival organizers with Fool's Paradise have announced additional performers and their late night sets for their 2017 event in St. Augustine, Florida. This year the festival will host late night sets with a mix of live performances. On March 31, Jaw Gems is set to perform, as well as the Eric Krasno Band, and the “Infinity Jam” hosted by Eric Krasno and Oteil Burbridge. On April Fool's Day the funk will be center stage for the late night sets on Saturday. Dumpstaphunk and the “Fools For Funk” featuring members of Lettuce, Dumpstaphunk, and more will takeover on April 1. The

In the Sonoran Desert south of Tucson on weekend of February 2nd – 5th, artists, music lovers, and gem and mineral enthusiasts gathered together for a meeting of the minds. The Gem and Jam Music Festival, which coincides with the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, is every bit as much as of an art festival as a music festival. This unique blend of people creates an idyllic environment bursting with creativity. Suwannee Hulaween 2016 Review and Multimedia from Sunday, October 30
On the final day of Suwannee Hulaween 2016, the event organizers planned to cap off the entertainment with Big Gigantic on the Meadow Stage. Suwannee Hulaween 2016. Photo by: Matthew McGuire. The day started off hotter in comparison to the other three days with less clouds and more sunlight. We were lucky to have an overcast for most of the weekend. Overall the weather was spectacular. My day kicked off with bluegrass from The Travelin' McCourys. The lineup to the band looked like it might have changed since the last time I had seen them in 2012.
Big Gigantic and The Motet Collaboration at Suwannee Hulaween 2016
Big Gigantic is currently selling out Red Rocks Amphitheatre this weekend, and will be taking the Rowdytown energy to Suwannee Hulaween at the end of October. In 2014, I was able to cover Rowdytown in Morrison, Colorado as The Motet and Big Gigantic shared the stage for the sold out event. Big Gigantic Brighter Future Tour + New Album
Big Gigantic is prepping for a new album titled Brighter Future set for release on August 26. The album explores a variety of vocalists to layer with the big beats from the Denver duo. This project takes listeners on a nationwide trip with a stops in Dallas, Atlanta, Boston, Memphis and a special performance with the Motet at Hulaween in Florida. Rowdytown V is set for September 23 and 24 at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside of Denver. This hometown show is always a memorable weekend of live music. Friday tickets are still available. Saturday tickets have now sold out.
