Meadows Music Festival 2017 books headliners Jay-Z, RHCP, Gorillaz
Citi Field in Queens, New York City is going to host the 2017 Meadows Music Festival with Jay-Z, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Gorillaz headlining the event from September 15-17. A special performance is booked with LL Cool J featuring DJ Z-Trip. Additional acts include: Nas, Weezer, Future, M.I.A., Big Gigantic, Bassnectar, Run the Jewels, Erykah Badu, Foster the People, De La Soul and over 50 live performances. Gorillaz album review for ‘Humanz’ with updated Tour Dates
Gorillaz released their fifth studio album titled Humanz on Parlophone and Warner Bros. Records. The album was released on April 28, 2017. Imelda May Spills her Guts with new record ‘Life, Love, Flesh, Blood’
Ireland-born Imelda May recently ended an 18 year marriage. She took the heartache from her separation, and made beautiful art with it on her recent album Life, Love, Flesh, Blood. The album was produced by T Bone Burnett, and was recorded at Village Studios in Los Angeles. May had help from the same backing band that worked on Robert Plant and Alison Krauss’ Raising Sand. Her management shared a quote from Bob Dylan. “Imelda May, I like her.”—Bob Dylan She will tour North America this summer.
