"It's 2018 and Marijuana Is Finally Allowed and Sexual Harassment Finally Isn't" - Seth Meyers Watch over a large selection of highlights of the 75th Golden Globes from Los Angeles. Seth Meyers provided excellent commentary during his opening monologue. The Red Carpet was filled with thoughtful men and women standing up for equality. One of my close friends, Suzanne Cline added to this important discussion. She noted: A show of unity and support was evident at the Golden Globe award tonight. In place of walking the red carpet to show off designer fashions and glamour, the stars wore black. This creative

Watch the Live Stream Exclusively on Facebook Live The Golden Globes has officially kicked off from outside the Beverly Hilton Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, California. Guests are decked out in the color black to raise awareness for the injustice and sexual misconduct within the entertainment industry. One of the biggest disappointments of the Red Carpet pre-show to the 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards is that Facebook has blocked users from embedding the official live stream to other websites. That means, you have to log on to Facebook, and use their platform to watch the official live stream. We apologize. Fox

If Jeff Sessions Wants to Make Marijuana Illegal, He Is Going to Have to Create a Substitute to Generate Tax Dollars (Without Raising Taxes) The GOP have put to much authority into the hands of one person with Jeff Sessions. His recent move to take away the power on the state level to manage the criminalization of marijuana is a mistake that effects the entire party. Even the Koch Brothers are against his decision. When the Koch Brothers are against a law, the smart bet is to go with the money, because Sessions can't afford to go against the lobbyists

Sensationalism Trumps Progress We just started 2018 with the same broken news cycle as the year before. Here is a classic example of the poor reporting standards in 2018: Donald Trump tweets his opinion on Twitter. Dozens of media outlets rush to make 'breaking news' about his point of view. No laws are changed. People get worked up and read through news coverage. After reviewing his point of view, they then post their opinion online. Media outlets see a spike in online traffic.
