The 44th American Music Awards was held on November 20, 2016 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Ariana Grande performs with Nicki Minaj at the 2016 American Music Awards. The two vocalists tore up the stage with their steamy track 'Side to Side' live from the AMAs. Watch the performance of The Chainsmokers featuring Halsey below. During my first viewing of the song I got board with the voice over work in comparison to their live vocals from the VMAs. Even though the VMA performance with live vocals was received with mixed reactions, it was still more engaging to

An Introspective Glance at Startup Culture on Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday follows the madness from Black Friday each year by inviting consumers away from the big box stores, and down to Main Street to help spur and drive the local economy. According to standingrock.org, the website notes that: 'The tribe maintains jurisdiction on all reservation

Record Store Day Black Friday provides new music on vinyl records to independent record stores around the United States. Each April Record Store Day works with musicians and indie record stores to connect fans with limited released material. This has grown in such popularity that they have added a second day on Black Friday to give the opportunity of releasing limited music a second day in the year. In my area within Southern Illinois, we are kind of spoiled with indie record stores in comparison to large cities that may have fewer, and larger populations. The ability to be
