Netflix is producing a second season of the show The Get Down. It will start streaming on April 7. South Bronx in New York continues to serve as a melting pot for a wide range of cultures all converging in one place. The Get Down takes a look at the music scene during the late '70s in New York City. Despite the show having financial issues in the past, Netflix is going with another season in 2017.
