Reality Garage and Galvanize in Boulder Hosting a UX + Virtual Reality Meetup During BIFF 2019 The Boulder International Film Festival is currently in the midst of a four-day event with a special virtual reality showcase taking place at Galvanize Cafe on Walnut Street in Boulder this weekend. In addition to the feature films, documentaries, and short films; BIFF 2019 has connected with Reality Garage to host seven of their virtual reality projects. The festival will also host events in Longmont and Fort Collins over the weekend. BIFF continues to draw an average of 25,000 attendees each year. Forty years later the event has expanded to over 50,000 runners and thousands in attendance. Kweli Recently Added to the SXSW 2018 Lineup Talib Kweli and company hosted live performances at the Fox Theater in Boulder, Colorado on Tuesday, February 27. Niko IS and Spintelect opened the show with electronic reggae music from Jamaica. DJ Spintelect originated in Ghana, and helped keep the music going throughout the evening. The opening acts were above par overall. Talib Kweli landed in Colorado to find out that Mos Def leaked news on a possible upcoming project between the two parties. A wildfire has forced residents in the Boulder area to find safe shelter. Air quality is a major concern for the Boulder County area this weekend. KRDO reported that the fire, which is titled the Sunshine Fire, started in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 19.
