Additional Acts Set to Perform: ZEDD, The Killers, Halsey, The Chainsmokers, and Over 60 Acts Goldenvoice and the Hangout Music Festival have announced dozens of live acts set to perform in Gulf Shores, Alabama from May 18-20. The social media response is the same as the past two years with diehard alumni taking verbal jabs at the lineup. After covering the event from 2013-2016, I can say that the lineup undercard does lack name recognition. The festival broke out 7-10 big names, and left the smaller acts to fend for themselves with smaller advertising budgets to gain exposure. The headliners

NitroFest Featured International Brews Crafted with Nitrogen Left Hand Brewing hosted the fourth annual NitroFest in Longmont, Colorado on Saturday, November 11. It marked my first time covering NitroFest. Lotus performed an action-packed two hour set with a monster version of 'Tip of the Tongue' at NitroFest 2017. The audience was filled with diehard Lotus fans. Before the show got underway, a member of the audience brought up that she loved Lotus so much, that she named her dog after the band. Over 40 Breweries from 5 Countries Will Be On Tap at Nitro Fest Left Hand Brewing Company and Left Hand High Five Events will be hosting a tasty event in Longmont, Colorado on Saturday, November 11. This year marks their fourth annual Nitro Fest taking place at Roosevelt Park. Lotus will be performing live on stage starting at 8:00 p.m. with a two hour set. Niall Horan threw his album release party this past Friday at iHeartRadio Theater in Los Angeles for his latest project Flicker. Guests were able to soak in the new music, as well as find out more about the makeup of Horan. “I knew what I wanted it to sound like musically and then the lyrics came afterwards. I’m not used to writing songs of that style. To be honest, not many people my age are used to doing that because it is a unique sound from many decades ago. I think that’s why it stood out on the charts.

Sam Adams is currently hosting a month long tour of events nationwide featuring their line of Octoberfest beer selection. The festival tour stopped in downtown Denver to Larimer Square on Saturday, October 7. Oompah, Corey Harper, G. Love and the Special Sauce, as well as George Clinton and The Parliament Funkadelic performed on the outdoor stage. The festival was stocked with plenty of beverages and food to snack on. Lollapalooza South American has released a stacked list of artists for their 2018 events taking place in March. LouFest Music Festival hosted over 60,000 attendees for their eighth year in St. Louis on September 9 and 10. This year they relocated to a new section of Forest Park to nearby The Muny Theater.
