Flash Flooding In Southern California Taking Place from Santa Barbara to San Clemente California continues to get hit hard with serve weather conditions. As predicted by the Farmer's Almanac, we reported in late December that California would experience rainfall, but we did not foresee the flash flooding issues. This rain does help distinguish the wildfires that plagued Southern California during the end of 2018. As climate change becomes more severe, the need to become more aware on how to protect ourselves becomes even more important. In the case of flash flooding ready.gov reports: Avoid walking or driving through flood waters.

The Golden Globes have Announced Jennifer Aniston, Roseanne Barr, Common, Ron Howard, Dwayne Johnson, Michael Keaton and Natalie Portman as Presenters in 2018 The 75th Annual Golden Globe Awards have recently rolled out the red carpet for the award ceremony taking place on Sunday, January 7. Seth Meyers will be hosting the event with his comedic touch. He helped get the exterior of the Beverly Hilton Hotel ready with the Mayor of Beverly Hills, Lili Bosse. She presented the Hollywood Foreign Press Association with a proclamation officially naming January 7, 2018 as “Golden Globe Awards Day”. The event organizers also announced presenters that will be on hand this year.

The Farmer's Almanac Predicts That the Los Angeles Area Will Experience Rain in January 2018 The California Wildfires have now become the largest in the state's history. One of the few elements that will heavily decrease these wildfires is rainfall. According to the Farmer's Almanac online, they are predicting that rainfall will take place in Southern California during the first week of January. In addition, they also note that rain will occur during the last two weeks. The Farmer's Almanac reports accurate data 80% of the time. In contrast, The Weather Channel is showing no signs of rain to take place
