Peter Bjorn and John Explore the Breakin’ Point with a Documentary
One of the best independent releases from 2016 was released by Peter Bjorn and John titled Breakin' Point. This beautiful piece of music is available on physical and digital platforms. I was first turned on to the project when the band got in touch with press materials for the international tour that started in 2016, and has continued through 2017. We often get press materials from a wide mix of producers and creators in different forms of entertainment. Once I saw that Peter Bjorn and John were releasing a follow up to their 2011 album Gimmie Some, I was instantly interested

Earth Day started in 1970 with a humble beginning in the United States. Over the past 48 years, people have joined together to help sustain and protect the environment. In 2017, Earth Day took on a new meaning with international protests pushing for a more sustainable future. The Guardian reported: 'The main March for Science event was held in Washington DC, where organizers made plans for up to 150,000 people to flock to the national mall...' They also pointed out that over 600 protests were held across the globe. The March for Science event continues after the protest wrapped yesterday.
Record Store Day 2017 Releases Limited Vinyl to Music Hungry Consumers
Record Store Day and Earth Day have collectively made Saturday, April 22 one of the best days of the year. In 2008, a small list of titles was released on Record Store Day and that list has grown to include artists and labels both large and small, in every genre and price point. Ten years later, independent record stores across the world help release limited edition copies of vinyl records. This initiative helps local businesses keep their doors open. Advertising on Social Media in Comparison to Radio, Newspaper and Televison
As a media producer with over seven years experience producing Web content, I have been able to find out the best practices to advertising for different companies. Before a company sets an advertising budget, before a company opens their doors, and before they pick out a spot for the business, the first thing a company should do is create a new product that fills demand. Once the company has gauged the amount of revenue they will collect in comparison to spending costs, then they can start to create engaging ways to deliver the product to a mass market. The

A Glance Behind the Scenes of the Marijuana Industry on April 20
For decades the federal government has been heavily controlled by lobbyists from major corporations. Pharmaceutical companies have been pumping billions of dollars into the economy, and for several years the government has created laws to imprison people for using drugs not sold by the major drug distributors. Once public demand for drugs started to shift towards marijuana, the drug companies started to take note, and have been shifting their focus more to medical marijuana.
