Big Gigantic Brighter Future Tour + New Album

Big Gigantic is prepping for a new album titled Brighter Future set for release on August 26. The album explores a variety of vocalists to layer with the big beats from the Denver duo. This project takes listeners on a nationwide trip with a stops in Dallas, Atlanta, Boston, Memphis and a special performance with the Motet at Hulaween in Florida. Rowdytown V is set for September 23 and 24 at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside of Denver. This hometown show is always a memorable weekend of live music. Friday tickets are still available. Saturday tickets have now sold out.

Sundance Institute Explores Cinematic Virtual Reality with the Jaunt VR Residency Program

The Sundance Institute has recently added new virtual reality projects to the Jaunt VR Residency Program. Daniel Arsham, Yung Jake, and Lily Baldwin & Saschka Unseld are set to showcase their work in a six-month program designed to aid artists with breakthrough technology, virtual reality and immersive storytelling. The program will provide artists with new ways of delivering narrative through cinematic virtual reality and will have the opportunity to receive a grant to make their virtual reality short films.
