Google continues to expand their presence in the renewable energy sector with a recent announcement of going to 100% renewable energy by 2017. Amazon and Google are both making major progress within clean energy development. In Google's case, they are using DeepMind, a United Kingdom form of technology, that uses artificial intelligence to solve problems. The Guardian reported: “We are convinced this is good for business, this is not about greenwashing. This is about locking in prices for us in the long term. Increasingly, renewable energy is the lowest cost option,” said Marc Oman, EU energy lead at Google.

Amazon announced today their new technology-based grocery store in Seattle. The company has created an application to help shoppers connect with products. The app and store is called Amazon Go. If you watch the video below it gives a walkthrough of how the technology works. Amazon is pushing hard for a checkout-free shopping experience, but I'm not totally buying that line. Casey Neistat and Beme are set to merge with CNN in 2017 following a multimillion dollar deal. Neistat, the indie YouTube success story, recently started a video-sharing app with the company Beme. Overall, the company brought in users, but like many applications, it experienced difficulty retaining attention with returning users. Neistat pivoted with that company to working out a large deal with CNN for a reported 25 million dollars. FINAL FANTASY XV has brought in the big names in music to help release trailers for the recent chapter in the FINAL FANTASY series. Eminem adds vocals to the trailer for 'Ride Together' and Florence + The Machine cover 'Stand by Me' for the 'Stand Together' trailer. Listen in to Florence + The Machine's full cover: https://youtu.be/vv2DSmy3Tro The FINAL FANTASY XV games continue to build upon the realistic graphics. The soundtrack and visuals create a truly unique gaming experience. One of the elements that catches my eyes is the progressive use of the camera during narrative/cinematic points in gameplay.
