The U.S. Department of Energy recently reviewed the impacts that snow caused on solar power panels. They found out that in light snow conditions, the snow helped generate more power overall. In contrast, they also found that heavy snowfall currently created a problem for the panels. CleanTechnica reported in 2012 that snowy conditions can increase productivity with solar power panels. It does seem that the reflection of the snow would aid to the amount of solar (photovoltaic) cells available for the panels to collect. As technology continues to advance, the materials and methods that the panels are used will soon capture the

Twenty seventeen is set to once again break temperatures in the global heat index, as well as ushering in a political administration that doesn't believe climate change is real. This is also taking place during a time when climate patterns are destroying communities around the world. I hate to break it to everyone, but if 2016 was bad, 2017 - 2020 will not be any better. On a brighter note, we have solar power technology and music to unite us in challenging times. It is important to connect with our political representatives, and attend local town hall meetings to create

Bitcoin is an electronic form of currency that has made impressive gains over the past few weeks. On Wednesday, Bitcoin was valued at 968.00 USD per Bitcoin. In comparison, to the all-time high of 979.45 per Bitcoin. The digital currency has continued to have a positive trend during 2016. One of the strong driving points to the increase in demand may be the instability of the major currencies around the globe. One of the questions that I would like to see is how Bitcoin will react when valued around the 980.00 USD price point. The price of the currency

Biotechnology is still a relatively new concept for the general public that utilizes technical methods to diagnose problematic cells in the body. A quick definition of the word: 'At its simplest, biotechnology is technology based on biology - biotechnology harnesses cellular and biomolecular processes to develop technologies and products that help improve our lives and the health of our planet. We have used the biological processes of microorganisms for more than 6,000 years to make useful food products, such as bread and cheese, and to preserve dairy products.' Despite having financial setbacks in 2016, the biotech industry continues to
