86 World Premieres, 11 North American Premieres, and 5 U.S. Premieres SXSW 2018 has just released their film slate with dramatic, comedic, documentary projects, and narrative films to screen. A crossover of independent film and refined cinema comes together in downtown Austin, Texas. SXSW has announced 132 feature films from multiple categories. They have announced projects within the following categories: sections: Narrative Feature Competition Documentary Feature Competition Headliners Narrative Spotlight Documentary Spotlight Visions, Episodic 24 Beats Per Second Global Festival Favorites Special Events Midnighters, along with Short Film, VR, and the inaugural Independent Episodic section will be announced on February 7. Dead & Company Performing Four Sets at LOCKN 2018 The LOCKN Music Festival has officially announced that Dead & Company will be performing two nights on August 25 & 26 in Arrington, Virginia. Over the course of the week the festival will announce several of the performing acts via their main website. On January 29 I predicted that the festival would gradually release the lineup.
