The 12th Annual Gem and Jam Festival is Scheduled for Action on January 25-28 In less than two short months, the Gem and Jam Festival will be lighting up the desert sky in Tucson, Arizona. The festival, which coincides with the world-renowned Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, just released its schedule. This year, the Gem and Jam festivities will be kicking off on Thursday, January 25. This will essentially give festival goers a dynamite pre-party experience featuring Dynohunter, Zoogma, and additional acts. The social media response is the same as the past two years with diehard alumni taking verbal jabs at the lineup. After covering the event from 2013-2016, I can say that the lineup undercard does lack name recognition. NitroFest Featured International Brews Crafted with Nitrogen Left Hand Brewing hosted the fourth annual NitroFest in Longmont, Colorado on Saturday, November 11. It marked my first time covering NitroFest. Lotus performed an action-packed two hour set with a monster version of 'Tip of the Tongue' at NitroFest 2017. The audience was filled with diehard Lotus fans. Before the show got underway, a member of the audience brought up that she loved Lotus so much, that she named her dog after the band.
