Suwannee Hulaween officially opened the festival gates to guests with three days passes. On Friday the festival hosted live entertainment featuring: Karl Denson, Gramatik, The String Cheese Incident, Future Rock and many more talented musicians. It marked my first time covering the event with Tony. My primary goal was to capture the event with photos and film, but with such an expansive festival, I wanted to help him out with the context and background on the live performances. Hulaween 2016 Hosts the Most Wicked Pre-Party in Camping Music Festival History
4 stages, 24 total acts, including EOTO, Marco Benevento, a late night Greensky Bluegrass show, and 2 sets of Umphrey’s McGee. That’s what you call a Pre-Party at Suwannee Hulaween! Needless to say the bar was set high early in the weekend. Marco Benevento was the first of many to funk up the Amphitheater stage during the extra warm afternoon. EOTO & Friends As always EOTO helped get this party going on Thursday, but taking the stage somewhat earlier than last year and being joined by Umphrey’s McGee’s guitarist Jake Cinniger and Break Science’s Borahm Lee.

The String Cheese Incident will help host the fourth annual Suwannee Hulaween music festival in Live Oak, Florida this October 27-30. The band will perform three days during the event, and will also showcase music that they have developed with side projects. Over the past four years, The String Cheese Incident have been the flagship live act for Hulaween. With each year, the band continues to find new ways of showcasing live music from their twenty year career. Three Intriguing Acts at Suwannee Hulaween 2016
This year marks the fourth annual Suwannee Hulaween music festival held in Live Oak, Florida. Each year the festival hosts a wide range of music for guests to engage with during 3-4 days of camping and recreation. Recently, we published an in-depth article covering some of the data behind the 105 musical acts set to perform at Suwannee Hulaween. Early arrival is currently open for guests wanting to get setup before the entertainment hits on Thursday. Jingle Ball Tour 2016 has recently announced the performing acts set to take over a dozen cities across the United States this winter. Currently, the NYC and Los Angeles concerts are sold out. Suwannee Hulaween, Silver Wrapper and Purple Hat Productions will be hosting their fourth annual four day music festival in Live Oak, Florida at the Suwannee Music Park. III Points celebrated their fourth-annual music, art & technology festival in Miami this past October 7-9. Hurricane Matthew moved across the coast of Florida on Friday, October 7. The storm created serious problems for the LCD Soundsystem road crew. The band was unable to safely transport their gear to Miami during Hurricane Matthew. III Points did note that the band would be unable to perform, but it gave a chance for Vince Staples to step up to a headlining position. Spiritual Rez Drops New Album Setting in the West
Spiritual Rez, a Boston-based reggae-punk band, recently released Setting in the West on their own record label featuring a talented cast of musicians working behind the scenes. Setting in the West is a 10-track LP that was produced by AWOLNATION's Kenny Carkeet, and co-produced by Eve 6’s Max Collins. It features guest appearances by Duddy B of Dirty Heads, Hirie, Billy Kottage from the ska/punk group Reel Big Fish, as well as Goldfinger’s John Feldmann helping co-write 'Red Room.' Hurricane Matthew Takes 26 Lives in the US, and Over a Thousand in Haiti
Hurricane Matthew, a deadly tropical hurricane, with many meteorologists calling it a 'post-tropical cyclone,' has now taken 26 lives in the United States, and left over a thousand dead in Haiti. This storm has taken a major toll on the island of Haiti, as well as in the southeast section of the United States. Florida, Georgia, North and South Carolina had announced last Friday a state of emergency following the recent storm.
