RAC Teams Up with St. Lucia and Rivers Cuomo for ‘EGO’ out July 14 via Counter Records
RAC, also known as André Allen Anjos, is a Portuguese producer that has a new album coming out on July 14 titled EGO. This upcoming album features established musicians, as well as up-and-coming artists. In addition to producing tracks with Rivers Cuomo and St. Lucia, RAC also worked with Joywave, Pink Feathers, Alice MK and many more. During this past year, RAC won a GRAMMY for Best Remixed Recording of Bob Moses’ 'Tearing Me Up.' This marked the first Portuguese artist to win a GRAMMY. The summer and fall entertainment lineup is heating up with YouTube Red Originals. These large-scale film projects take filmmakers and build upon their skill set, as well as providing original content for YouTube viewers. YouTube Red 2017 originals feature Good Games from the Rick and Morty creator Dan Harmon and Lifeline from international superstar Dwayne Johnson. One show that stands out within the original programming is Escape the Night with Joey Graceffa. Currently that show is in their second season. NPR Music for Turning the Tables Live Opens the Lincoln Center Out of Doors Festival Season
New York City will host Lincoln Center Out of Doors Festival from July 26 to August 13. It is one of the country’s longest-running free outdoor summer festivals. The event organizers recently confirmed the summer lineup along with its collaboration with NPR Music for Turning the Tables Live opening the festival Wednesday, July 26 at the Damrosch Park Bandshell. https://youtu.be/bTOp_8_RvuA The opening concert will feature: Ronnie Spector, Nona Hendryx, Alynda Segarra, TORRES, Lizzo, Gaby Moreno and Rickie Lee Jones. The Wall Street Journal has reported that Facebook is in discussion with Hollywood producers to create original programming for their platform. This move is another step by Facebook to expand their video and multimedia viewing options for their users. Recently the company has made a large push to get users engaged with Facebook Live. Jessica Hernandez & The Deltas have recently released their second full studio album in Spanish and English titled Telephone / Telefono. The group released their first album in 2014 titled Secret Evil, and have returned with a package of studio recordings that reflect their aggressive spirit. Hernandez is a second generation Cuban and Mexican-American. She worked on her Spanish by spending two full weeks speaking exclusively in the language. Montreal Plans to Sustain a Complete Fleet of Electric Buses by 2025
The public transportation in Montreal, Canada has been working with a new batch of electric buses. In Montreal the public transportation system is also known as Société de transport de Montréal, or STM. In May 2017, CBC News reported that the electric buses have started to work in with other vehicles on the circulation route along the 36 Monk line; going from Angrignon Metro station to Square Victoria Metro station.
