The path of totality will pass through the United States with partial eclipse starting in Oregon close to 09:05 a.m. PDT. Carbondale, Illinois will have a viewing party at the Southern Illinois University football arena. For residents living in the area, as well as visitors before next Monday, the craft shop has smartphone filters on sale to grab photos of the solar eclipse. The rush to capture the upcoming solar eclipse has the United States centerstage for this monumental event. Many spectators will want to capture the solar eclipse with their smartphone cameras. To achieve the best results, it is best to have a solar filter to protect your eyes, as well as the photograph. It will be smart to plan ahead to have a solar filter ready.
