ACL Festival 2017 Announces their Daily Lineup with Single Day Tickets going on Sale 7/14
Austin City Limits Music Festival has announced their daily lineup for their 2017 event taking place over two weekends in Austin, Texas. Friday: Jay-Z, Martin Garrix, The xx, Ryan Adams, Solange, and Foster the People. Saturday: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chance The Rapper, Ice Cube, Spoon, Tove Lo, A$AP Ferg and additional performers. Sunday: The Killers, Gorillaz, Run The Jewels, The Head and the Heart, Vance Joy, ZHU and Milky Chance the Rapper will close out Sunday night each weekend. Pilgrimage Music Festival will be returning to The Park at Harlinsdale in Franklin, Tennessee on September 23 & 24. After supporting the festival in the past, Justin Timerlake will be joining the lineup of entertainment this year. Overall, I find this to be one of the biggest, best and more breakthrough live sets of 2017. First, this festival is not a major corporate event. It might have a couple large name sponsors, but overall, the look and feel to the Pilgrimage Music Festival is relative to spending time on Main Street in your hometown. Milwaukee is known for celebrating summer in grand fashion with Summerfest. This year marks their 50th anniversary of the festival taking place in Wisconsin. The festival released their lineup recently, and have a long list of special performances lined up. Here is a quick breakdown. The Red Hot Chili Peppers will be performing on June 28. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, on their 50th anniversary tour, performing two nights on July 5 & 6 with Chris Stapleton. The lakefront will be turned up for Future, Big Sean & Migos live sets. The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival will be hosting Tom Petty and the Heartbreaks on their anniversary tour run. In addition, Stevie Wonder will be headlining the event with Maroon 5 and Dave Matthew with Tim Reynolds. Nas with special guests The Soul Rebels is the set of the festival. Suwannee Hulaween 2016 held their fourth annual music festival in Live Oak, Florida on October 27-30. Silver Wrapper, Suwannee Music Park, Purple Hat Productions and The String Cheese Incident brought in My Morning Jacket, Disclosure and Big Gigantic to help headline the four day camping music festival. Tony Smith, writer for Crescent Vale, has covered the event in 2014, 2015 and again this year in 2016.
