How Election 2020 Will Be Decided by the Electoral College

By |November 21st, 2016|Categories: Economy, Featured, National News, Politics, United States, YouTube|Tags: , , , , , , , , , , |

Election 2016 left a majority of the country trying to figure out why a candidate with over a million votes in the popular election could lose the overall election. The answer is Donald Trump did a better job of campaigning in swing states with important electoral votes better than Hillary Clinton overall. Donald Trump is not only a politician by definition, but he was better at being a political candidate than Clinton with years of experience. What Trump did well is connect with voters on the economy. (He used the energy within the Bernie Sanders campaign on the oppression with

Five New Solar Power Projects in Virginia Fueled by Amazon Web Services

Amazon, the Seattle-based technology company, steamrolls through the negativity of the past election, right through climate change, and arrives in Virgina to change the world with five new solar farms. When Amazon created two wind farms in Ohio, I was excited, but to see them work directly with the eastern seaboard is an exciting piece of progression behind the clean energy movement. This level of progression is summerized by Amazon and Business Wire: 'By supporting 260MW of solar generation capacity in Virginia, Amazonbecomes the largest corporate backer of solar projects east of the Mississippi River.'  They also spoke with Governor

How Climate Will Change during the Donald Trump Era

By |November 14th, 2016|Categories: Clean Energy, Economy, Environment, Featured, National News, Politics, United States, YouTube|Tags: , , , , , , |

Donald Trump is currently in a state of transition after claiming the presidency during the 2016 election. "The (DEP) Department of Environmental is killing us environmentally." - Donald Trump (04/2016) That quote summarizes the amount of time and energy Trump has spent learning about different departments of the government. Or it is him playing dumb about a topic he knows about well, but doesn't want to appear knowledgeable. What he meant to say, possibly, is the (EPD) the Environmental Protection Department limits corporations to generate revenue with regulations. One of the positive elements to Trump's environment plan is his

YouTube Red is amping up their original content with ads running in movie theaters this winter. Online users that watch YouTube videos can experience it ad-free with YouTube Red. As an independent media producer for YouTube, I recently sent a pitch to the company on working more together in 2017. During the pitch, I mentioned that I would create a list of the top YouTube channels in Illinois to show our value in comparison to other media producers within the fifth largest state. Since YouTube does not currently have a ratings system for the channels per state, I'm going

Donald Trump has been Elected as the 45th President of the United States

By |November 9th, 2016|Categories: Clean Energy, Economy, Featured, Global, National News, Ohio, Politics, United States, YouTube|Tags: , , , , , , |

Election 2016 has been by far the most dysfunctional presidential election in recent history. After the election, it is only fitting to have a former reality television star become the 45th President of the United States following months of abusive language. NPR and the New York Times have both reported that Donald Trump has secured enough votes to become elected the next president. The most damaging effects will come from his tax plan, (which will lower the business tax rate from 35 percent to 15 percent, once again showing the world that the trickle down system does not work) his

Leonardo DiCaprio, actor and environmentalist, has just pulled off one of the most dynamic moves in contemporary filmmaking by releasing his latest documentary Before the Flood on YouTube. During his time working on The Revenant with Alejandro G. Iñárritu, DiCaprio found downtime to start production on his own film covering the controversial topic of climate change. Denmark currently operates on 100% renewable energy. Germany currently is being ran on 30% renewable energy.  The United States currently has 13% of energy being produced by wind, solar and other forms of clean energy.  Our country is clearly falling behind, and that is due to
