Widespread Panic Takes the Shryock Auditorium Widespread Panic Athens-based, Widespread Panic returns to Carbondale, Illinois on October 1. The band had originally booked the SIUC Arena, but has recently decided to pack the house at the Shryock Auditorium instead. This will be the third time the band has played at SIUC since 2000. The band has a history with Carbondale, Illinois and their live music archives.
